 Regional Exploration and Production:
The property is strategically located along the western extension of the Destor Porcupine Fault Zone (DPFZ). Abitibi Mining's land position lies approximately 24 km on strike and to the west of the former producer the Joburke Mine which produced 302,561 tons of ore yielding 28,440 ounces of gold

 Other Local Exploration:
The property lies approximately 78 kilometers southwest of the town of Timmins which produced approximately 67 million ounces of gold. Neighbours to the northeast include Lakeshore Gold and a number of junior exploration companies active in the area such as Melkior Resources, Nebu Resources, RTX Minerals, Temex Resources and Explor Resources. The property adjoins a significant land position to the east of Zinccorp Resources.

 Property Geology:
The property is comprised of intercalated mafic metavolcanics, felsic volcanic and sediments. A northeast trending fault appears to have displaced a northwest trending fault which may be a continuation of the DPFZ. An exploration program in 1965 by Keevil Mining approximately two miles southwest of the town of Foleyet encountered agglomerates, graphite and talc-carbonate schists. Wide sections of semi-massive pyrite with minor sphalerite and chalcopyrite. The target would appear to be a VMS style of mineralization.

 Work Completed to Date:
No recent company work. The property has only been recently acquired.
