| The Meridian Bay property is located within the north flank of the Eagle-Wabigoon-Manitou Lakes greenstone belt within the western Wabigoon Subprovince within the Eagle Lake Formation along the northern contact with Atikwa Batholith. The Meridian Bay Showing consist of northeast- and east-trending, pervasively silicified shear zones hosting gold mineralization associated with massive sulphides (up to 95°) composed of pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and magnetite, containing variable amounts of copper and nickel. The showing is hosted within hybrid granodioritic rocks of the Atikwa Batholith, along its contact with mafic metavolcanics immediately to the east. Sub parallel, linear shear zones striking 040°-060° occur within the Batholith and along the northern contact of the Atikwa Batholith, where it commonly contains xenoliths of mafic metavolcanic rocks. The Wabigoon Fault in this area is dominantly northeast-trending, and the shear zones may be secondary shear bands developed sub parallel to the shear boundaries of the fault. | |||||||

| Recent airborne survey shows new potential of old high grade gold and copper showings that occur within sulphides and iron-oxide (magnetite) in intrusive rocks on the Meridian Bay Property. Government mapping and sampling identified large sulphide zones with magnetite (iron-oxide) in intrusive rocks with grab samples returning grades up to 14g/t gold and 2.2% copper. | |||||||
