- The property lies within close proximity to the DPFZ or a subsidiary splay off of it. Structural trends with an east west azimuth course through the bottom portion of the Township.
- Previous drilling in 1994 intersected massive pyrite and pyyhrotite in lithologies that appear consistent with a VMS environment. The massive sulphides encountered may be distal to a possible vent.

| | The property is strategically located along the western extension of the Destor Porcupine Fault Zone (DPFZ) or a subsidiary splay off of the DPFZ. Abitibi Mining's land position lies approximately 24 km on strike and to the west of the former producer the Joburke Mine which produced 302,561 tons of ore yielding 28,440 ounces of gold. |

| | The property lies approximately 78 kilometers southwest of the ton of Timmins which produced approximately 67 million ounces of gold. Neighbours to the northeast of Abitibi include Lakeshore Gold and a number of junior exploration companies active in the area such as Melkior Resources, Nebu Resources, RTX Minerals, Temex Resources and Explor Resources. The property adjoins a significant land position to the east of Zinccorp Resources. |

| | Property Geology:

| | The township is predominantly underlain by a granodiorite pluton. The bottom portion of the ground has been mapped as a suite of mafic metavolcanics in contact with the southern portion of the granodiorite. Drilling in 1994 on a mafic inlier within the granodiorite intersected dacitic debris flows, quartz feldspar porphyries and approximately 27 meters of massive pyrite and pyrrhotite. No assays were recorded in the accompanying logs. The Abitibi property lies approximately 3.4 kilometers southwest of this drilling. |
